Parasites in your bowel - Worms

Worms are numerous in people. One in four people are infected with roundworms and autopsies reveal that 80% of people have parasites / parasitical infestation.

These parasites can be as small as microscopic single-celled organisms to 7 meter tapeworms. This is why so may people who follow a herbal bowel cleanse see worms coming out of them, even if they have never displayed the usual symptoms of being infected, such .

Anal irritation and itching (especially at night)

Abdominal bloating and gas / wind / flatulence

Gastrointestinal upsets

Food sensitivities

Drooling and grinding of teeth when sleeping

Constant and unaccountable lack of energy

Vaginal irritation

Continual and unaccounted for diarrhea / diarrhoea

Aching joints and muscles

Immune system dysfunction / low immunity

Chronic fatigue

Unexplained weight gain, especially around the waist / abdominal area

Unexplained weight loss

Dark circles under the eyes

Internal worms are usually found in an area of the colon called the caecum as they like little oxygen. Colon Hydrotherapists have named this area as the 'region of worms'.

Worms are quite easily detected in an Iridology test as they show up as black dots in the eye, in areas relating to the bowel. They are also found in diverticular pockets as these are ideal breeding grounds for them - people with diverticulosis are predisposed to these parasites.

You can ingest these unwanted visitors by eating unwashed food that has been grown in soil fertilised with manure, which has not been composted properly.

In the intestines, worms are the cause of feeble absorption of nutrients and pre-dispose the host to anaemia / anemia.

There are various types of worms, as listed below:

Types of worms

Tapeworms: (cestoda) - Parasitic worms of considerable length, shaped like a piece of tape. Such worms living in the human intestines are Taenia solium from pigs, Taenia saginata from cattle and Diphyllobothrium latum from fish. These are normally acquired from eating undercooked or poorly prepared meats or fish such as uncooked gefilte fish. It is a very difficult worm to get rid of once it has colonised you. They drain you of nutrients, especially iron.

Round-worms: (nematode) - They are white, threadlike worms. Found in most parts of the world. Infestation may not be serious but difficult to totally eliminate from the body. Once a member of the family has them, it spreads to other members or people in close contact.

The main cause of infestation is eating food with unwashed hands after contact with pets and soil.

Hook-worms: Ancylostomiasis - Infestation of the small intestine with tiny worms (Ancylostoma duodenale) . They are common in children from areas of hot, damp earth in which larvae thrive. Worms enter the feet via the skin and are borne to the lungs and intestine. Prolonged infestation leads to aneamia and retarded development in children. a very stubborn and hard to get rid of worm.

Flukes: (trematode) - These are parasitic flatworms and occur mainly in sheep and the freshwater snail. The larvae form from snails on water plants such as watercress. Once it invades the body, it normally settles in the liver and bile duct, causing problems with release of enzymes, nutrient absorption and detoxification of the blood.

Worms hate onion, garlic, pumpkin seed & cranberry. They will also not inhabit a clean, strong colon as there is no soft and tasty mucus to make them feel at home.

Traditional herbal medicine is very effective at killing off and getting rid parasites during all stages of development. See the Parasite / Body Detox Programme.
